Foundational Course

Cellular Medicine Foundations

A healthy cell is an intelligent system, carrying the mechanisms and pathways it needs to produce energy, adapt, and repair. When that internal order breaks down, Cellular Medicine works through those same pathways, using the cell's own signaling to influence it back toward optimal function. This course teaches that model from first principles, and it forms the foundation the rest of the SSRP Institute curriculum is built on.

The curriculum

Six lessons, one foundation.

This course gives you the cellular reasoning the rest of the pathway is built on: what the cell is doing, how its systems communicate, and why that understanding sits underneath clinical peptide therapy and individualized care.

1

Understand what Cellular Medicine is

This lesson defines Cellular Medicine as supporting the cell's own signaling rather than chasing symptoms, and it shows why clinical reasoning starts at the cellular level.

2

See how the cell communicates with itself

The mitochondria and the nucleus are in constant communication, and you will learn to follow that exchange and read what it means at the bedside.

3

Learn to read cellular metabolism

Metabolism is the cell's core language, and you will pick up the concepts needed to read it with confidence.

4

See how metabolism shapes gene expression

A cell's metabolic state influences which genes it expresses, and you will trace that link for a clear first look at epigenetics.

5

Connect cell signals to what you see in patients

Signals deep inside the cell set the stage for what later appears in a patient, and this lesson connects the mechanism to the clinic.

6

Understand how cells adapt over time

The cell continually chooses which signals to act on, and you will see how that steady regulation shapes adaptation over time.

Each lesson builds the vocabulary the rest of the SSRP curriculum draws on, so that when you move into peptides and pathways, the mechanisms already make sense.

Why start here

A complete foundation before you specialize.

Much of peptide education begins in the middle, with protocols first and mechanism second. The SSRP Institute curriculum is built the other way. It establishes the foundations of cellular mechanisms and pathways first, then expands into the signaling agents that act on them, such as clinical peptides and other small molecule therapies. Cellular Medicine Foundations is that first layer, and the reasoning it builds carries into every training that follows. The Cell Code examines these pathways in greater depth, and the courses beyond it apply them in practice.

When you are ready for the peptides themselves, Peptide Therapy Foundations builds directly on this, one agent at a time: mechanism, evidence, application.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

This course is for clinicians who are new to Cellular Medicine, and for those who want to ground their peptide and longevity work in the underlying cell biology before going deeper. No prior coursework is assumed.
This course is an overview of how Cellular Medicine works. You will learn what Cellular Medicine is, how mitochondria and the nucleus communicate, cellular metabolism, the link between metabolism and epigenetics, and how cellular signaling shapes what shows up in a patient.
None is required. Cellular Medicine Foundations is the starting point of the pathway and is designed to be the first course you take. It builds the vocabulary the later courses rely on.
The course runs about 1 hour and 46 minutes across six self-paced lessons. Most learners complete it in a single sitting, and you keep lifetime access to revisit it.
Access is delivered to your SSRP account immediately after checkout. The course is fully self-paced and available on any device.
Cellular Medicine Foundations is a primer, not a certification course, and it does not carry CME. When you are ready to certify, the pathway leads to Peptide Therapy Certification.
Peptide Therapy Foundations is the recommended next step, building directly on the cellular groundwork here and taking the clinical peptides one agent at a time.
