SSRP Providers

Not necessarily. Certification shows that a provider has mastered the material, but it does not tell you how they use it. Some Certified providers are actively managing patients. Others take the program for their own education. If you are looking for a provider who is treating patients with peptides, we recommend contacting them directly to ask about their current practice.

A Clinician is someone who has a license with the authority to write prescriptions for medications such as peptides. A Specialist is someone who does not have prescriptive authority.

The only way to legally prescribe peptide therapies is to hold a license that grants prescriptive authority. Specialists bring valuable knowledge of peptide science and can support your care, but they cannot personally prescribe.

Every US-based provider designated as a Clinician has an NPI (National Provider Identifier) number that SSRP has verified internally. If you would like to confirm a provider's NPI yourself, NPI numbers are publicly available and can be searched through the federal NPI Registry.

Our Certification is built on demonstrated competency, not passive attendance. Sitting through a course is not enough. Every listed provider has passed a 50-question exam with a score of 90% or higher.

A Certificate is valid for two years from the date the provider passes the current version of the Certification exam. After that, the provider must reCertify (pass a new exam, based on new materials) to stay current.

No. Every year, the SSRP Certification program presents a brand new slate of case studies. We believe learning peptide therapy means learning the language of the cell, and the only way to learn a language is through repetition. Fresh cases each year keep our currently-Certified providers practicing and learning long after they pass the exam, as well as prepare them for reCertification when that time comes.

The map only lists providers whose certificates are currently active. If a provider's certificate has lapsed, they will be removed from the map until they pass the current iteration of the Certification exam.

No. A listing on this map is not a guarantee or endorsement of a provider's practice, services, or offerings. It shows that the provider is one of the few who have enrolled in and passed our best-in-class Certification program. We encourage you to research any provider and ask questions directly to decide whether they are the right fit for you.

The SSRP only supports peptide therapy that is administered using regulated, compounded peptides. We do not support the clinical use of RUO (research use only) peptides, which are not intended for use in patients. If you learn that a provider listed on this map is actively prescribing RUO peptides to patients for clinical use, please report them immediately by emailing info@ssrpinstitute.org.

Provider listings are published only when your SSRP certification is up to date. If your certification isn’t current at the time of submission, we’ll keep your details, but the listing will stay inactive and won’t appear on the public map until your certification is current.

The SSRP Provider Listings map is public and can be viewed by anyone. You do not need an SSRP membership to access it.
