    Hello Collective

I have a 55y/o male with Peyronie’s disease.  I am not certain the amount of plaques or the degree of curvature of the penis.  I am looking for suggestions for treatments and if shock wave therapy is actually useful

    Thanks in advance

    Carrie

Hello! Shockwave combined with PRP can be very effective. In our office we do two sessions. First we will do a shockwave session followed by injecting PRP into the scarring of the penis. (it is painful so you will probably want to do a penile block). We usually repeat this in 6 weeks. It can be done more but usually two treatments does the trick for most.

    Hope this helps

Thanks Kris.   I will either have to find a local person that is doing shockwave therapy and PRP.

Has anyone tried systemic therapy (like TA-1/TB-4) to see if that has any + effect on the plaques?
