    It is known that:

Hcrt-1 and Hcrt-2 peptides are undetectable in brain tissue of narcoleptic patients, and that narcoleptic patients exhibit an 85–100% loss of Hcrt neurons compared to control patients

Rather than a targeted peptide for narcolepsy or excessive daytime sleepiness, anybody have experience with peptides that support the hypothalamus in general and those conditions?

I have narcolepsy.  Have trialed many peptides such as DSIP, epithalon, thymulin as well as using CJC/Ipa, TA1, BPC.  The things that seem to make the biggest difference for me include Xyrem, and Prodrome Neuro in the AM and Prodrome Glia at bedtime (I use 4 caps of each).  I find narcolepsy patients to be quite variable in what they respond to.  Overall, the best results I’ve seen are combining Xyrem and Armodafinil.

    Appreciate you sharing your experience.

I’m currently taking Prodrome Neuro and Glia which have helped, and now have a script for a sleep study and MSLT.  I’ve put off doing the studies for many years because the medical solutions appeared to be just a bandaid.

Will be looking into Xyrem and Armodafinil.  Would be nice to stay awake, instead of falling asleep anytime I sit for any length of time!
