Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate provider (Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner) to join our team remotely on a part-time basis (3 days per week – 1 day per month, flexible). You will meet with patients virtually and construct treatment plans using a functional medicine ideology—treating the root cause rather than masking symptoms—by recommending peptides, vitamins, food plans, lifestyle modifications, regenerative therapies, additional testing, and other resources available at Med Matrix to promote patient vitality. You will be encouraged to utilize our in-person medical support staff, including nutritionists, nurses, MAs, and health coaches, to help actualize our patient health journeys.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and consultations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients’ medical history, symptoms, and goals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) for Physicians; Master’s degree and certification required as a PA or NP for PAs/NPs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of functional medicine, such as certification through institutions like A4M, SSRP, or IFM, or experience working with patients within this medical framework.
