I have a 40 year old patient that is reacting to most foods that has caused an eating disorder. She will now only eat a couple gummy bears during the day and a little protein at dinner. She has tried low-histamine diet, grain-free, and low fodmap. She remains grain-free. She is on allegra twice daily and SSRI therapy. I just received her labs back showing elevated ASO titre, EBV early antigen elevated, candida IGM elevated, homocysteine 14.5. There is a lot more but I am worried about methylation and balancing redox. I am worried going after the infections to early will cause a strong reaction. I was thinking VIP nasal peptide, maybe glycine to support, ketotifen to blunt degranluation and improve feeding tolerance. VItamin C to help histmain clearnace and Methylprotect.
VItamin C 250-500 mg 1-2 times daily
COq10
DAO enzymes with meals and at bedtime
NAC— worried she may not tolerate this.
Considering TA1.
