I had two of my Bredenson Protocol Alzheimer patients come in today and was wondering what the group uses with these patients in the form of peptides.

Are there any nuances for Stages 1-5 Alzheimers’ and the use of peptides?

    Any general recommendations for peptides?

I was thinking of starting with BCP 157 500mcg twice daily, cycle of TA-1 for 2 months then cycles TB-4 for 2-4 months. Maybe add at the tail end of this CJC/ipa

    Thanks

    Aaron

    Hi Aaron,

I don’t have many patients with Alzheimer’s however, those I do have are on hormones and CJC/Ipa or Tesamorelin and Sirolimus to begin with.

Looking forward to hear other inout.

Thank you so much for brining up this very important question.

    Best,

    Erika

    Aaron,

I enourage you to view the recent SSRP webinar for the Alzheimers Foundation of America.  It is loaded with peptide and non-peptide treatment options.  The seminar is designed for all levels of expertise and there is immediately implemnetable information to be learned.  I certainly learned a lot from the other speakers!

Your start is a good approach.  The treatment of Alzheimers requires a multimodal approach.  Cycling TA-1 and TB-4 would be great.  Using BPC regularly would be a good foundation of anti-inflammatory activity. Depending on budget, you can add TA-1 regularly and Selank is also anti-inflammatory that could be cycled.   I’ve had good response with Selank.

I would consider using CJC/Ipa more consistently.  Start low to make sure they tolerate it.  If there is underlying chronic inflammatory conditions it may exacerbate them if started at full doses.  That would be a multi-player that provides metabolic benefits and promote general neutropic effects.  In addition, P21 regularly would be considered at higher than the current recommended doses.

    best of luck,

    Abid

    Abid,

Thanks for your thoughts. I have quite a few Alz patients that are doing well but could do better and I think this will help.

    Abid,

I looked through the SSRP Website and did not find the SSRP webinar for the Alzheimers Foundation of America.

    Where can I find that?

    Thanks

    Great Thread Aaron!

Abid: what doses of the TA-1 and TB4 do you use. And with what frequency do you cycle the two? And on the Selank are you using 2 sprays each nostril BID?  I will watch the webinar as soon as time frees up tomorrow.

    Thanks in advance!
