I have a 60 y.o. female with severe BP fluctuations: going from 100 to 200/120 with pulse only 60-70 with no particular provocations. H/o renal cell carcinoma resected a year ago, otherwise no medical history prior to nephrectomy. Endocrine w/up for Pheo negative with low normal catecholamines and metanephrine levels; normal renin/aldosterone.

She has been on multiple BP meds: Bystolic, amlodipine, valsartan, hydralazine with no effect on the rise of BP, but made her very tired.

Was recently started on HRT hoping to minimize these fluctuations. Had paradoxical jump of BP post taking Progesterone 100mg only.

Working on biofeedback with heart math.

Not sure what to offer her.

    Thank you,
