CJC/Ipa and Cardiac Episodes

My client start on 10units of CJC/Ipa for the first time last night.  He had the obvious flush, increased heart rate for about 10 minutes after the injection and said he slept really well which is to be expected.  He said he dreamt for the first time in years and associated that with deeper sleep.

He said around 4/5am, he felt like someone was pushing down on his chest and it startled him awake.  He sort of woke up in a panic.

Is this common?

Anything I should be aware of?

Hi Cara,

That 4/5am response is not typical.  And it’s not likely from the CJC/Ipa.  The half-life of CJC/Ipa is too short for it to be causing that at 4/5am, and the GH response has also passed hours ago.
