elevated DHT- Natural DHT blockers not working, Anastrazole, or DIM

Hello fellow colleagues,

I have a 50 yr old male that is on Testosterone 100mg/gm cream daily. His DHT continues to increase. Last August it was 93ng/dl (12-65) and then in November it dropped to 75 and now 2/8/2022 his level has increased to 94.

He is very concerned about his hair loss and recently had a hair transplant. This doctor wants to put him on finasteride but he is resistant to start this medication due to potential side effects.

Any suggestions from you all is much appreciated.

While the semaglutide doesn’t seem to be the reason for the hair loss, some later posts in the discussion presents options for hair growth and that the potential reason is for the testosterone treatments.
