Can you fill us in on what you know about the GLP-1 lawsuit and what that means for business prescribing Semaglutide from compounding pharmacies? My nurse practitioner/medical director doesn’t feel comfortable orderding the compounding version with all of the news about them suing the pharmacies and going after prescribing practitioners. Our specific CP, Strive Pharmacy, has said “business as usual” but when I asked “So, there’s no risk for the presciber or business prescribing?” He responded with, you’ll have to seek legal counsel for that.
How are you all moving forward using compounded pharmacies? We have an account with PURE pharmacy, but I’m sure my NP won’t feel comfortable using them either. We do not and will not prescribe pharma versions (OZEMPIC AND WEYGOVI), so is there a workaround?
I’d love some other professional insight into this, trying to cover my ass as Dr. Cynthia would say
Thanks in advance!
