My initial question was based off a short conversation. I now have more context:

37yo f/m. Used to be in Air Force, discharged because she contracted botulinum toxin, suffered paralysis and other deficiencies but recovered, used to be athlete/lifter. Past history TBI x 2 years ago and another in January, Long COVID symptoms since last year, testosterone deficiency.

    Found this:

People with acute COVID-19 and people with ME/CFS share redox imbalance, systemic inflammation and neuroinflammation, im- paired production of ATP and other abnormalities in common

    https://www.pnas.org/content/pnas/118/34/e2024358118.full.pdf

She takes testosterone and sermorelin currently from previous clinic. My thoughts were to add in TA1 and some supplements to get redox back online. Considering adding in IGF-1 and switching up the Sermorelin. Also trying to decide on the TBI approach. Her biggest complaints are persistent fatigue, lack of interest and poor quality of life. She doesn’t complain of pain.

    Thanks again!

    Robb,

Hello! I love the idea of TA-1. I would get that started right away. After a few weeks, I think you should consider a round of 3 to 6 weeks of TB4 as well. I like to always start TA-1 3 to 4 weeks prior to adding TB-4. I think will cont the TA1 and do a round or two of TB4. I would d/c the sermorelin and consider CJC/Ipa at 0.1 cc qhs 5 nights a week. Also consider oral BPC daily along with Dihexa 20mg/ml 2 clicks a day.

    Hope this helps

    Hello Robb-

    a)first I agree with Kris’s ideas above.

b)second, I would strongly consider a trial of plasmalogens, maybe first the Glia (to help heal  damage/inflammation due to the initial infection, then head trauma, then CoVid.)

Then if the fatigue/brain fog type symptoms remain, I would change to Neuro (plasmalogens).

While these are expensive, I find you will know right away (like first few days) if they are helpful and needed. So, you would only need to continue them if seeing big changes.

c)lastly…”absolutely” to Kris’s BPC…. I suspect her BBB is pretty “leaky” after all of that.

    Hope they improve!!!
