We are looking at bringing on Methylene Blue in lieu of all the peptides the FDA is taking off the table.  I haven’t been able to find any protocols on the use of this though.  Does anyone have any guidance on this with concentrations, methods, and dosing?  Thank you for any input 🙂

You can safely take 0.5-4mgs per kg of weight, 10 days on 3 days off

    Hello.

In my practice I give 5-10 mg orally BID 5 days a week on and 2 days off. I also use it IV.10-30 mg in 100 ml D5W over 30 min. Some patient complain of vein discomfort ( D/t acidity) It is helped with ice. It is true though that the safe dose is 0.5 to 1 mg per kg. Probably less for older patients. Dr Gonzalez-Lima is one of the best researches on this subject.

There is Lyme protocol you can discuss with the pharmacist from Infuserve America, they specialize in it. They give 25 mg BID plus other stuff.

Hope it is not all confusing. Best, Leonid Gordin

    Hi,

We usually Methylene Blue all the time.  We previously were doing IV, but our previous sources are no longer able to provide it in injectable form, so we only prescribe oral Methylene Blue.  We dose MB based on patient tolerance and indication.  Methylene Blue 25mg is a good starting dose for most things.  You can do 5 days on 2 days off, but it’s not always necessary.  I myself am on 100mg a day and I prefer to take 2 days off on the weekends.  It’s great for focus, mood, and especially treating chronic mold, chronic Lyme, and in particular, co-infections like Bartonella and Babesia.

    Hope this helps

@drstevemeetingpointhealth-com Thank you for replying!  I’ve been reading that BID dosing is a good route to go.  Do you take 50mg BID? or 100mg QD?  Do you find splitting up the dose is necessary?
