    Hi everyone.

I just started learning about peptides.  Will appreciate some clarification.

Will repeated use of GHR analogs stop hypothalamic secretion of GHRH ? I do not want my patients to become dependent on exogenous GHRP.

    Thank you.

Input? I asked the question. I do not have an answer to it yet.

The use of GHRH and GHRP as short acting injectable agents like CJC/Ipamorelin do not suppress the production of endogenous GHRH or GHRP.    They help to maintain and preserve the pulsatile release of GH.  It may also increase the pituitary sensitivity to endogenous GHRH and GHRP.  The is observed when cycling off the meds, there is no drop off effect.  The effect has a slow tapering effect on GH and is often maintained for weeks while off.

Agree with Dr Hussain on this! It is one of the benefits of peptides versus GH!
