    Hello!

NO supplementation (like the capsules that Berekely Life had at the conference)- we know of the benefits of optimizing NO but I have read some studies discussing that too much NO can increase peroxynitrate with all of its attendant adverse effects.  I wanted to see if anyone had data or thoughts on this?

Also what about any new data on Resveratrol and exercise?  If taken pre-workout will it mitigate the effects of training?  Some studies said yes but others later said no.   Dr. Seeds or anyone:  would love input on this!

Great question. I’ve hobnobbed quite alot with Beth Shirley pharmD the nitric oxide Queen who contributed to deciding the recipe for that product. Yes it can. Always hormesis: in my work with early CKD – it’s clear that CKD is a NO-deficiency syndrome, clinician astute: recognizing the pathology and matching to every strategy to enhance it in a condition of vascular compromise like CKD. Beth’s product comes with saliva dip sticks – anyone know how efficacious??- using these I have seen people improve from low low undetectable to  optimal – she talks about dosing to the case at hand. Some pts only need beets and arugula, in CKD though- clinical assumption is a wise stance. And NOX is a scary threat in the inflammatory nature of this syndrome. Beth would come do a talk for us – she’s a whiz kid !! Eager to hear others’ thoughts
