I have a 69 y/o male who was in excellent health but has developed increasing pain in his hip. Turns out he has osteonecrosis. Conventional medicine has nothing to offer rather than NSAIDs and joint replacement. I was considering BPC-157, PPS, deep tissue red light therapy and possibly bone and vascular bioregulators. I welcome any suggestions.

In this gentleman, I’d recommend the following:

CJC-1295+Ipamorelin 0.1 ml SQ QHS (Monday to Friday)

Thymulin 0.25 ml SQ BID for 8-12 weeks, then re-evaluate

Thymosin Beta-4 0.25 ml SQ BID for 8-12 weeks, then re-evaluate

TRF 350 (Designs for Health) 2 capsules daily

    GyneAndroPlex 2 capsules daily

    Osteo-B Plus 3 capsules BID

    Vitamin D3 10,000 I.U. daily

    Vitamin K2 140 mcg daily

    Microcurrent therapy to hip

Also, we have a 10 year outcome for AVN of the Hip with Intraosseous BMAC (Bone marrow aspirate concentrate) if it is ARCO Grades 1-2 on MRI. If he has subchondral collapse already, we usually refer for total hip because the core decompressions do not seem to work very well. But we have successfully treated those with necrosis prior to collapse with great outcomes. Not sure where you are located, but myself a network of docs do this procedure around the country.

I have a teenage patient with ON r/t Lupus.  Is there any difference in recommendations or considerations you would offer for her?

I was also considering adding cannabinoids

    TIA
