Hi all,
I have a 65 year old male patient I have been treating for neck and shoulder pain. We’re using BPC157 and TB4 at home and I’ve been performing ultrasound guided peptide injections along his first and second ribs bilaterally with some success. He has a lot of cervical spine stenosis and joint disease. I wanted to put his on PPS54 until he informed me he has a history of retinal edema.
Dr. Yurth, I believe you’ve spoken extensively about PPS54 and the opthalmalogic issues from the oral medicine at high doses over a long period of time in a very small group of individuals. On the other hand, the medicine is known to be safe at the injectable doses of 125mg-250mg twice a week. Does anyone have any recommendations on what they would do in my situation with my patient with a history of retinal edema?
Thanks
Dr. Steve Matta, DO, MBA, FSSRP
