I have been introduced to a compounding pharmacy in Houston that is compounding peptide blends. We have come a long way since I started in peptides when we had to reconstitute them and be very careful so as not to break the bonds. Then TM came out with the buffered solutions which made the peptides more stable. However, the only combinations I have been aware of that are safe are the GHRH/GHRP peptides. This compounder is blending BPC-157/TB4/GHK-Cu/KPV in an injectable. Has anyone used such a blend and what is the consensus on the safety?

    TIA,

I’ve seen close combinations but never one like that. What pharmacy is it?

This is one of the issues with the FDA safety warning when it comes to aggregates. Peptides don’t play nice together when combined like that. They do not stay stable or potent. Even CJC/Ipamorelin combination will start to degrade quicker than single peptides alone. It would be interesting to see if they have any potency studies on a crazy combination like that. I doubt it.

    Thank you, Leonard.

    I was skeptical about this.

    I can ask them.

Hi Leonard, thanks for the input. I did not know that CJC/IPA is not as stable when mixed;  do you know if it degrades quickly?

Peptides in general. I don’t normally use the same vial of cjc/ipamorelin longer than 6 weeks the potency starts to drop.

6 weeks from manufacture date or 6 weeks from reconstitution?

If the CJC1295/Ipamorelin is compounded in the buffered solution and has not been punctured does it still tend to breakdown after 6 weeks?

Also, can you freeze the buffered solutions for longer viability?

I recall, way back when, Dr. Seeds would say the lypholized peptides (not blended) were good in the freezer for a year.
