    Hey guys,

I have a case of a 79-year-old male with a past medical history significant only for hyperlipidemia status post CABG about 7 years ago.  Was only on Crestor.  Patient has had rapid loss in gait coordination as well as difficulty with vision and speech over the last 3 years.  Prior to this was active athlete and played tennis 3-4 times a week.  No other infections to report.  Full work-up neurologically so far has been negative except for positive cerebellar antibodies on the vibrant America neural zoomer testing.  Saw neurologist and no treatment offered.  Family looking to possibly try peptide therapy to help with symptoms.  Any thoughts?

Statin therapy depletes the body, esp. the active tissues, such as the brain, heart, liver and muscles, of ubiquinol (CoQ10), so repleting the patient with high dose ubiquinol is essential.  I’d give him 300 mg of ubiquinol daily.

A recent meta-analysis revealed that statins have no genuine benefits for reducing cardiovascular diseases (“Evaluating the Association Between Low-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol Reduction and Relative and Absolute Effects of Statin Treatment: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis,” https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35285850/)

To help repair the neurodegeneration, I recommend the following:

ProdromeNeuro 4 capsules every morning with food initially, the increase to 6 capsules every morning after 4 weeks.

ProdromeGlia 4 ml every evening with food initially, the increase to 6 ml every evening after 4 weeks.

Memories with Seanol-P 3 capsules BID (from PGL, 800-527-9512, order #7876)

Cerebrolysin 2.5 to 5 ml IM daily for 2 weeks, then TIW.

Dihexa 25 to 50 mg po QHS, rotate one month on and one month off

    PEMF cerebral stimulation protocol

    Best, Mitch
