severe osteoarthritis

I have an active 69 y.o. lady, who skis all winter, runs 5-10 miles 3-4 times a week, eats healthy, but has severe deforming osteoarthritis of the fingers and wrists with pain and stiffness. RA, SLE w/up were negative. Trial of Pentosan IM BIW and Thymosin 1a SQ daily for 3 months in addition to undenatured collagen, Turmeric and Glucosamine/chondroitin gave her no relief.

Any suggestion?
