I have found that tinnitus and chronic neck (C/S) myofascial trigger points are strongly correlated. Especially at the mastoid process (insertion of the SCM). Other possible insertion(s) are the scalene, levator scapula. Usually one or a combination of, at the ipsilateral region.
TB4, BPC with trigger point therapy has been effective over 90% of the time. Typically the above muscle(s) and their insertions will be very tender/painful and/or scarification developed. I will also recommend teaching the patient how to perform daily trigger point pressure on themselves.
Chronic headaches/migranes may also accompany this. Headaches/”migraines” will be relieved first.
