Hi Everyone, I have only prescribed Semaglutide, but have recently been getting questions about using Tirzepatide instead.  Does any one have experienceswith Tirzepatide? If so, how does it compare in-terms of weight loss results (for non-diabetics)?  Thank you! Mel

Studies demonstrate greater weight loss dependent on the dose 50-100% as I recall compared to semaglutide. It is however more expensive. In fact, Southlake pharmacy had to stop semaglutide as of last week due to inability to source materials presumably due to popularity of commercial products and only offers tirsepatide. Just placed my first order so no personal experience as yet. I am reserving it for semaglutide failures primarily due to the higher cost and great efficacy of semaglutide in > 75% patients in my experience.

Tirzepatide makes Semaglutdie almost obsolete. Looks at Tirzepatide as the 2.0 version of Semaglutdie without the bug defects. Its a game changer.

We can only get Tirzepatide shipped to WV due to the state board of pharm limiting incoming shipments from compounding pharmacies.  I can give updates as time goes on as I have many patients already taking it and so far it seems to be very well tolerated.  It is more expensive.
