Update on Semaglutide and compounding pharmacies

can someone clarify what we keep seeing all over the internet regarding CP’s not being able to compound sema anymore due to the shortage being over?

I want to plan accordingly.

To my understanding all compounding sources via 503a and 503b for semaglutide and tirzepitide are essentially no longer legally available effective 3/17/25.  Reviews of the situation can be found on “onthepen.com”

I too am at a loss as to any sources options going forward for this medical weight loss option for patients in my practice that the GLP-1s and 2s are not covered on insurance

Big pharma is providing a direct to consumer noninsurance based $500/month option to my understanding

does anyone have any advice on this in regards to any legal sourcing options?
