Hello Denise,
I like testing bioavailable hormones levels with Saliva for a menstruating patient on day 21 of the menstrual cycle. When estrogen dominance is confirmed and based on her symptoms I recommend a liver detox, I use Clear change by Metagenics as it covers all 3 phases of liver detoxification. I also recommend the supplement DIM or increasing cruciferous vegetables in her diet. I also use bioidentical progesterone 50 – 100 mg given cyclically.
