SSRP Institute Welcomes PharmaNutra as New Trusted Partner

PARTNER ANNOUNCEMENT

WILLOUGHBY, Ohio, [October 22, 2026] — The SSRP Institute announces that PharmaNutra has joined its Trusted Partner Network following nomination and completion of the SSRP’s internal review process.

Founded in Italy in 2003, PharmaNutra is a pharmaceutical and nutraceutical company focused on the research, development, and production of nutritional supplements and medical devices. Its research includes Sucrosomial® Technology, a patented nutrient delivery system developed to support the absorption and gastrointestinal tolerability of select micronutrients, including iron and magnesium.

SSRP Fellow and nominating Member Madison Lepore, APRN, recognized PharmaNutra for its commitment to scientific research and innovative nutrient delivery. “What stood out to me about PharmaNutra was the science and research behind Sucrosomial® Technology and its innovative delivery method. Patient absorption and tolerability are important considerations in clinical practice, and having a solution designed to address both makes it an easy choice to recommend to my patients. PharmaNutra was a natural fit for SSRP’s Trusted Partner Network.”

Within the cellular medicine landscape, nutritional status and micronutrient bioavailability are important considerations in evaluating metabolic function, mitochondrial health, and individualized patient care. Through this partnership, SSRP Members gain access to additional research and educational resources related to nutrient absorption and delivery, supporting the evaluation of nutritional strategies and patient-specific clinical needs.

Andrea Lacorte, founder and creator of Sucrosomial® Technology, emphasized the shared commitment to advancing patient care through evidence-based innovation. “Iron is fundamental to cellular health. It powers oxygen delivery and mitochondrial energy production, and it supports nearly every system clinicians care about. Yet, iron deficiency often goes unaddressed because traditional supplements are poorly tolerated and face many barriers in the absorption process. At PharmaNutra, the heartbeat of our work is producing evidence-based solutions that improve everyday health. This is why we developed Sucrosomial® Technology to effectively deliver nutrients to the cells that need them. The SSRP Institute shares our commitment to root-level, personalized care built on rigorous science. We are proud to be named a Trusted Partner and to support clinicians with the education and tools to help their patients feel the difference.”

Through these partnerships, the SSRP aims to support Members by connecting them with vetted resources that complement training, protocol development, and implementation in practice.

EP2, Tissue-Resident Macrophages, and a New Mechanism of Organ Aging
Revisiting a Journal Club Article, “Restored clearance of senescent neutrophils by tissue-resident macrophages limits organ aging.” Science. 2026  Why This Paper Matters Most of the senescence conversation over the past decade has centered on a familiar cast: senescent fibroblasts, endothelial cells, adipocytes, and the drugs designed to clear them. This paper, which I discuss in […]
