    Hello,

I saw a new 64 y/o female patient today with a history of mitochondrial DNA muscular disorder, first diagnosed due to external ophthalmalgia> 20 years ago. Also history Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and allergic asthma with frequent respiratory infections. She sees a neurologist who recommends supplements. She is optimized on hormones. Her 2 goals: improving muscle strength and reducing respiratory complications. HGb A1c 5.8%. Has a very healthy diet and exercises as much as her body can tolerate

Current supplements from neurologist: Boron , Vit D, Coq10 500, Acetyl –  carnine, Cod liver, Vit C, mag glycenate, berberine 400 mg,

Would love any insight from any providers treating patients with similar history . Thank you!
