Dr. Seeds welcomes the new year with the publication of Therapeutic Peptides in Orthopaedics: Applications, Challenges, and Future Directions, a research article that appears in the January 2026 issue of the prestigious Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Alongside co-authors and fellow orthopedic surgeons, Omar F. Rahman and Steven J. Lee, Dr. Seeds examines the cellular mechanics behind a number of peptides that promote musculo-skeletal healing, tissue regeneration, and other aspects of cellular recovery to address the need for clinical studies that show the efficacy of peptide therapy. Although pre-clinical trials are promising, the medical community as a whole will benefit from more human-based research that shows the power of peptides to advance recovery and preserve health.
